Design Process
Step 1: Basic Sketch
To start the visual process and just to give a very basic idea of what the unit(s) will look like, a rough sketch can be drawn freehand, usually during the first consultation, whether it be at the office or the individual's home.
Step 2: Floor Plan
The next step is to get the sketch to scale, which includes all the measurements and calculating of what materials will be used. A drawing program is then used to layout the unit, showing exactly how much room will be used and where everything will be placed.
Step 3: Finished 3-D Image
The final step produces the image that will really give the customer an idea of what the finished product will look like. Using the drawing program, the floor plan can be converted into a 3-D image with full color and viewable from multiple angles to get the full effect of the end result.
